Piers Morgan left “Good Morning Britain” this week amid the dust surrounding his latest review of Meghan Markle, a recurring theme in his career.

But it wasn’t the first time the explosive TV personality and former tabloid editor had been embroiled in a feud, on Twitter or otherwise.

Here’s a list of the big oxen that Morgan, 55, has cooked over the years, including Chelsea Handler and Jameela Jamil.

Morgan and Clarkson, former student of “Top Gear”, have been training for many years.

Their animosity dates back to 2002 when Morgan posted photos of the groom Clarkson with another woman in her diary. Clarkson pleaded with Morgan not to publish the story, to no avail, leaving Clarkson’s wife and children upset by the publicity.

The following year, Clarkson emptied a glass of water over Morgan during the Concorde’s last flight.

“I poured a glass of water on his crotch, so when he came down it looked like he got wet,” Clarkson admitted on TV.

The following year, he got into a fight with Morgan at the British Press Awards. The brawl left Clarkson with a broken finger and Morgan with a scar after being punched three times.

On Tuesday, “The Good Place” star Jamil tweeted that Morgan’s “campaign of lies” against her almost led to suicide last year.

“I almost committed suicide a year ago because of Piers Morgan’s relentless campaign of lies and hate against me last February,” wrote Jamil, 35. “I’m glad I’m still alive today for many reasons.”

As Page Six previously reported, they embarked on a vicious Twitter feud last year with “Love Island” star Caroline Flack, who died by suicide.

“Piers is using a dead woman I was friends with, as a weapon to try and create further harassment for me, as I just explained publicly that last week I felt suicidal… that’s why he’s the most problematic of this industry. My review of a * show * was not aimed at any hatred against Caroline, ”she tweeted at the time.

He responded by writing: “Delighted to see Jameela Jamil miraculously found the strength of his myriad of afflictions to call me a ‘bully parasite’. This is such a valuable contribution to the #BeKind movement and I wish him well with his continued recovery from hypocritical twerp syndrome.

In 2014, transgender author and activist Janet Mock appeared as a guest on “Piers Morgan Live” to discuss her memoir “Redefining Realness”.

After it aired, Mock lambasted Morgan on Twitter for describing her as “a boy up to the age of 18”. She tweeted angrily that Morgan needed to ‘do it together’.

Morgan snorted that he had “never been treated in such a shameful manner” by a guest.

The famous author is not a fan of Morgan, whom she once described as a “celebrity toad”.

During a 2017 appearance on “Real Time with Bill Maher,” Morgan insisted the Trump administration had not enforced a “Muslim ban” with a travel ban against seven countries.

Australian comedian Jim Jeffries, who was also a guest on the show, responded fiercely by telling Morgan to “fk off”.

The author “Harry Potter” happily retweeted the exchange and wrote, “Yes, watching Piers Morgan get told to f *** off on live TV is * exactly * as satisfying as I ever imagined it to be.”

Morgan replied, “That’s why I never read a single word of Harry Potter.

“Because you had a premonition that one day the author would roar with laughter seeing you calling your *** bulls on live TV?” Rowling replied.

Teigen has often roasted Morgan on social media.

An exchange arose from a tweet in which Morgan reflected, “I hope people don’t make me look too perfect when I die. No sugar layers please. “

John Legend, Teigen’s husband, replied, “You could test us by announcing your retirement.”

Teigen replied brazenly, “Of what? Trolling is not a job (I tried). “

Morgan joined with a look at Teigen’s own career, tweeting: “Maybe I should take a good job, like modeling?”

Teigen: “It keeps me kind and non-racist, so give it a try.”

In 2016, the reality TV star shared a nude photo of herself on social media.

Morgan offered to buy clothes for Kardashian, referring to money issues involving her then-husband Kanye West, who was recently in the news.

“I know the old man’s $ 50 million debt, Kim – but that’s nonsense. Do you want me to buy you some clothes? ” Morgan wrote.

“Hey @piersmorgan never offers to buy clothes from a married woman. It’s about some types of Ashley Madison, ”Kardashian replied.

Chelsea Handler happily weighed in on her meeting with Morgan this week.

“Some holes get better, some stay the same,” she recently captioned an excerpt from an old interview between her and Morgan that has since gone viral.

In the remodeled 2014 segment of “Piers Morgan Live,” Handler said Morgan was a “terrible interviewer” for not paying attention to what she was saying during the conversation.

While Morgan tried to turn the situation around and blamed the 46-year-old comedian for not [his] be careful, ”Handler shot back quickly.

“It’s not my problem,” she said. “It’s your show. You need to be careful about the guests you have invited to your show. “

Piers’ feud with Grande was one of the few that ended with optimism. The “Thank U, Next” frontman came for Morgan in November 2018 when he accused her of using nudity to sell albums. But the couple decided they had common ground – apparently going over their tax brackets – after a face-to-face meeting in February 2019.

“We met. at the restaurant. and I decided to sit down with him and we talked for a while. I think some progress has been made! Grande explained after some fans expressed disappointment at their rapprochement.

Gaga and Morgan clashed in 2016 after Morgan hinted that she and Madonna lied about being sexual assault survivors.

He also hinted that Gaga was exaggerating the PTSD claims, saying, “I know a lot of soldiers with PTSD, it’s a very serious thing. I also know people who claim to have it but clearly don’t. “

Obviously, Gaga had some sort of influence over Morgan that few others could claim: He went on to say that he regretted the PTSD tweet and also apologized to her in April 2020 after criticizing her concert. One World COVID Relief: Together at Home.

“Somewhere, Emmeline Pankhurst just threw up,” Morgan tweeted in 2017 one of EmRata’s sexy photoshoots. This, after calling Ratajkowski a “global bimbo” on “Good Morning Britain” and after recycling her ‘buy clothes’ comment to Kardashian in Ratajkowski in July 2016.

“Telling women what to do with their bodies and their sexuality is actually just classic sexism,” Ratajkowski replied to the 2017 jibe. “I can have opinions on feminism and also do sexy photoshoots. , thank you.” She ignored Morgan as he continued to tweet about her five more times.

Anderson Cooper / CNN

Morgan went after Cooper after the Briton’s CNN show turned kaput, telling Politico, “Could I have done a better introduction? Yes.

“Anderson is a great frontline reporter, but does he generate great ratings on CNN outside of a big news cycle? I see no evidence of it.

Cooper did not respond, although CNN did, releasing a statement that read: “During the two and a half years that ‘AC 360’ served as the lead in Piers Morgan’s program on CNN, he still has. issued a higher mark than that of Piers program. And during the seven months that the Piers Morgan program led to “AC 360,” “360” consistently scored higher than the Piers program. It’s sad that Piers is trying to find a new job by distorting his performance in his old one.

Morgan demonstrated his aptitude for recycling old bits again in 2017 when he made another reference to Parkhurst to use as a club against Amber Rose, who posted a scantily clad photo promoting her SlutWalk outreach event.

One shot at a time of their conflict would take the rest of March, so we’re just going to drop our favorite photos of Rose: “I would make you my submissive little bitch and you would love every second that I can see through u.” “

Morgan criticized Craig in 2018 for wearing his baby girl in a chest sling, which he called “papoose.” While the Bond actor did not respond, Captain America himself, Chris Evans, did, reprimand, “You really have to be so unsure of your own masculinity to be concerned with the way another man carries his child.” Morgan was then inundated on Twitter with photos of beef cakes ranging from “Thor” actor Chris Hemsworth to UFC fighter Alex Volkanovski wearing their offspring in pectoral slings.

Morgan attacked Watson on several occasions, first hinting in a 2017 article that Watson had set a feminist double standard on an interview question she answered about Beyoncé. Watson simply posted the entire interview, showing Morgan took his response out of context.

He sued her in 2019 for describing her single status as “self-partner” and again a month later for appearing dressed as a nun in a Pirelli calendar, calling her “the most representative actress of all the time”. Watson stopped responding to him after 2017.
