This is the 13th consecutive season that the Pittsburgh Hockey Team has achieved the playoffs, making it the longest stretch of the National Hockey League, according to the team on Twitter.

The New York Islanders, seeded No. 2, will host the first two games of the series. The Pittsburgh Penguins, 3rd in the standings, will host the Islanders on April 14 at 12 pm. and April 16 at 7:30 pm If a sixth game is needed, the Penguins will be host again on April 20th.
