Dwayne Haskins’ wife faces a domestic violence charge resulting from an alleged assault involving the Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback that occurred in a Las Vegas hotel room earlier this month, according to multiple reports .

Kalabrya Gondrezick-Haskins faces a charge of assault and battery and domestic violence resulting from the alleged July 3 altercation at the Cosmopolitan.

According to reports, Gondrezick-Haskins is accused of punching Haskins in the mouth, and other injuries suffered by Haskins as a result of the alleged altercation were “of a substantial nature”.

Haskins, 24, had a split upper lip and a missing tooth, and he suffered other mouth injuries that would require dental treatment to repair his teeth, according to reports.

It was reported that officers were called to the hotel around 2:30 a.m. Pacific Time and Haskins was rushed to hospital with a facial injury.

Gondrezick-Haskins told police, according to reports, the couple married in March and were in Las Vegas to celebrate with friends and renew their vows. At one point in the evening, an argument escalated when she punched Haskins in the mouth.

Haskins, according to reports, said he remembered arguing with his wife, but did not recall being punched in the mouth. While searching the room, officers found a piece of tooth and blood, according to reports.

Haskins, a former 2019 Washington football first-round pick, signed a one-year contract with the Steelers in January in hopes of reviving his NFL career.
