Pittsburgh Steelers vs. Packers winner prediction, week 4

[ad_1]

The 2021 regular season is upon us and the Pittsburgh Steelers gear up for the Green Bay Packers in Week 4. As the Steelers gear up for their second home game of the season, it’s time for the staff. of the BTSC to put on their prognosis hats. and guess the winner of the contest.

Who will be closest? We’ll keep an eye out, so let’s make choices. Check out staff picks below, and even a pick from an enemy guest!

Jeff Hartman

I’m a homer so I always pick the Steelers but this week I see the team having a legitimate chance to beat the Packers. No one thought they had a chance against the Buffalo Bills in Week 1, and it will take that kind of performance to beat the Packers. They’ll need the help of special teams and defense to beat Aaron Rodgers and company, but they’ll find a way.

To take: Steelers 24, Packers 20

I’ve been wrong about the Steelers’ game every game this season. For this reason, I’ll give the fans what they want and deliver my “kiss of death” to the Green Bay Packers, much like I did with the Week 1 Bills. You’re welcome, Steelers’ Nation. I’m sure the Steelers’ point total is pretty close, but it will be up to the defense to keep the Packers in check if they hope to pull this one off.

To take: Packers 31, Steelers 23

Sometimes I go with my gut when it comes to choices and then in other cases I choose to base my decisions on my head. The Packers are the prohibitive favorites and yes they should be. But my gut thinks reports of the Steelers’ ultimate demise are premature. The Men of Steel defense has been smashed, but they are well and truly healthy. They might need to help the offense, but I think the offensive line could get some help in the running game with Joe Hang or Zach Banner in the lineup.

To take: Steelers 27, Packers 26

I’m going to have a hard time picking the Steelers to win another game, until the offense can prove they can move the ball consistently. The Steelers feel dependent on a pick of six or a special teams touchdown to be competitive in games and that’s no way to win in today’s game with heavy / high passing. Aaron Rodgers won’t have to carve out the Steelers defense much for the Packers to be victorious.

To take: Packers 24, Steelers 13

KT Smith

I share the sentiment expressed by Dave Schofield above. I too am an unfortunate 0-3 picking the Steelers this season, and I also think they will lose at Lambeau Field on Sunday. That should bring joy to the eyes and ears of Steelers Nation and all but guarantee another upheaval on the road.

To take: Packers 27, Steelers 16

Geoffroy Bénédict

The Steelers convinced me they can’t win this game so I’m going to pick them to win it because that’s what Mike Tomlin’s teams do, they win games they shouldn’t and lose matches they shouldn’t. So forget everything else and let’s somehow win the Steelers!

To take: TJ Watt 23, Packers 20.

Rich Schofield (Big Bro Schofield)

Can anyone honestly say they trust the Steelers as a team right now? In particular, I don’t see the offensive suddenly fixing all of its difficulties in a week. It’s good to put some players back on defense, but it won’t make a difference since the Packers are winning.

To take: Packers 30, Steelers 20

Shannon Blanc

Every seasoned Steelers fans knew the offense was destined to struggle early in this season. It is a process, and it takes time to cultivate. I was hoping the Steelers’ stellar defense could carry more than its fair share in the first quarter of the season. No one could have foreseen all the injuries though. With almost a full crew set to step onto the pitch on Sunday, any hope of victory once again rests on defense, as offense strives to be relevant.

To take: Packers 30, Steelers 20

André Wilbar

Call me unreasonable, but I really like the way the Steelers take on Green Bay. Their pass rush without Za’Darius Smith is quite pedestrianized, which hopefully means the offensive line won’t be so crossed this week. It’s also worth noting that Ben Roethlisberger has never lost a regular season game to the Packers, averaging 340 passing yards per game against them. With a healthy TJ Watt and Alex Highsmith, I think the Steelers will be able to put enough pressure on Aaron Rodgers to force a mistake or two.

To take: Steelers 25, Packers 20

Matty Peverell

The Defense will have to come forward because relying on the offensive is also reckless. If Watt and Highsmith are back they have a real chance of forcing some Rodgers mistakes, look for Joe Haden or Minkah Fitzpatrick to capitalize on any wrong throws. I think this game will be decided by 4 points, one way or another I’m going to pick the Steelers, although it’s more reckless than expecting the offense to show up.

To take: Steelers 24, Packers 20

Marc Davison

The Pittsburgh Steelers are not playing competitive football at this time. However, that doesn’t mean the Steelers are fighting for the number one pick in the 2022 NFL Draft. This football team is young and has limited experience working together. Still no excuses because the team must play better than the last two weeks. This week against the Green Bay Packers, I don’t care if the Steelers lose. My only concern is who will show up?

To take: Packers 38, Steelers 24

Anthony Defeo

This is the classic “back to the wall” game for the Steelers and head coach Mike Tomlin. Things are going a lot better this week on the injury front, and I certainly expect a more spirited effort than what has been displayed against the Bengals. However, I think the Packers will win quite convincingly.

To take: Packers 30, Steelers 17

Joe Meerdink (Acme Packing Company)

After a bit of a rough start I think the Packers got it right on offense and they clicked in the last couple of weeks. I think the Packers win and cover.

To take: Packers 31, Steelers 21
