PITTSBURGH – Keep your winter equipment and snow shovels on hand as snowmakers travel around the area over the next few days.
The snow ended Friday morning from west to east over the area, but a mix of rain and snow is possible late Friday night to Saturday morning, mainly south and east of Pittsburgh.
The strongest storm moves on Sunday, bringing the threat of stable snow Monday morning.
Currently, the Extreme Weather Monitoring Team 11 is monitoring the risk of several inches of snow. Plan now for snowy roads and Sunday night impacts and possible delays Monday morning.
As always, the forecast for this storm will change, so check back often for updates.
