Pixel 3a released by Google Store

Yesterday we saw the Pixel 3a and Pixel 3a XL run away via the Google Play Developer Console, but it turns out that this is not the only way for Google to disclose its upcoming midrange pixels.

Pixel 3a appeared briefly in the Google Store yesterday. Specifically, the name "Pixel 3a" appeared in the Phone pull-down section of the Play Store, which also included a new navigation design. The phrase "Google Pixel 3a Case" also appeared with a URL stating "https://store.google.com/product/pixel_3a_case_fabric", which gives us a clue to at least one accessory that Google will have for its new phones.

Unfortunately, both links lead to dead pages, no new information on Pixel 3a has been revealed. The Google Store has since been updated to remove references to Pixel 3a. The fact that they appeared briefly in the Google Store suggests that Google is about to launch the Pixel 3a and 3a XL, which would correspond to the announced launch of the phone in the spring.

Nest Store Max also leaked last night. We have just learned that it will be a smart display with a 10-inch screen, stereo speakers and a built-in Nest Cam camera . This unannounced device also appeared in the Google Store drop-down list, with an entry for "Google Home Hub / Google Nest Hub," suggesting that Google could rename its smart speaker to a Nest product.

We do not know yet when this mysterious Nest Hub Max could be launched, but as for the Pixel 3a, the brief appearance of the device on the Google Store could suggest an upcoming release.
