"Made by Google" events are usually forums where Google presents new products. At last year's event, Google had deployed the Pixel 3, the Pixel 3 XL, the Home Hub and a new Chromebook.
Google's images showed a phone with a big square hump on the back of the device and no fingerprint reader. Google has also announced various features for Pixel 4 this summer, including motion detection technology and the ability to unlock the phone with a user's face, similar to Apple's Face ID feature.

The camera is probably the most important design change: Pixel phones have always featured the best smartphone cameras, thanks largely to Google's artificial intelligence software. Despite nearly all other high-end smartphones with two, three, and sometimes four back-end cameras, Google had blocked its previous Pixels.

According to some rumors, the Pixel 4 would have a second camera, a telephoto lens able to zoom on subjects. The main camera would be able to take quick action shots and will have an enhanced "night vision" feature, which adds brightness to very low light scenes.

The new pixel should have 6 GB of RAM, against 4 GB before. Customers were complaining about the lack of RAM on previous Pixel phones, which resulted in a reduction in the speed of the phone and forced the phone to automatically exit programs in the background. .

The first glimpses of the Pixel 4 software suggested that the phone would also not have a fingerprint reader on the screen.

The other great new feature should be hands-free gestures to control the phone. They will likely be powered by the phone's motion sensors described by Google in a blog post in July. The extra sensors seem to create a very thick upper frame (by 2019), even though most high-end smartphones have edge-to-edge displays.

Pixel 4 should be available in black, white and coral.

Pixel phones are currently the only Android devices with Android 10. The company has announced that the operating system version will be deployed on other devices later this year.
