Google’s Pixel Buds are cool, even if they aren’t the best out there or the most feature-rich. The second-gen Pixel Buds made them completely wireless, and the Pixel Buds A-Series made them affordable. All of these models surprisingly integrate with Google apps and services and bring the Google Assistant closer to your ear. If you ever need to quickly change the settings of your Pixel Buds, the menu to do so is now easier to access than ever.

In the latest Pixel Buds app update, version 1.0.3909, Google added a handy widget that you can use to quickly access your Pixel Buds settings (via 9to5Google). To find the widget, all you need to do is update the app, go to your phone’s Widgets panel and search for “Pixel Buds”. From there, place it on your Home screen, tap your Buds, and you’re good to go.

Previously, the way to access your Pixel Buds settings varied from device to device. If you had a non-Pixel Android phone and were using the Pixel Buds app, all you had to do was tap the app to access your settings, as the app acted as a companion app. On Pixels, however, it’s different – all of these features are built into the device’s settings, so users need to go to the Settings app, tap Connected devices, and then tap the gear icon next to Pixel Buds. We can clearly see why Pixel users would want this widget – the existing process can be more boring than helpful.

Tapping on the widget will take you directly to your Pixel Buds settings, where you can then check for firmware updates, adjust gestures, change assistant settings, and more. You can now grab the update from the Google Play Store.
