Although the rumor that it was a refresh of the first Pixelbook (a "Pixelbook 2") was very long, it is clearly more different from the original Pixelbook and Pixel Slate than expected. The first thing to know about the Pixelbook Go is that it is a more standard laptop than the first Pixelbook and the Pixel Slate convertible tablet. According to our report from yesterday:
Our sources have qualified this notebook back to a more proven Chromebook, transmitting items such as the first 2-in-1 foldable form factor of the first Pixelbook, Pixelbook pen compatibility and the confusing attachment of the Pixelbook keyboard. Instead, the Pixelbook Go is a laptop notebook with ergonomic flip.

The Pixelbook Go will have a handful of variants, but all will have a 13.3-inch touch screen. As explained in the video above, the Pixelbook Go is offered in Intel Core m3, i5 and i7 configurations with 8GB or 16GB RAM and 64GB, 128GB or 256GB storage. The high-end variants also have a 4K screen, as opposed to the standard Full HD display of low-end models.
Some extra details: Pixelbook Go has improved front speakers, two front mics, a 2-megapixel front camera that can capture 1080p at 60fps, a Titan C chip on the inside, standard WiFi and Bluetooth interfaces, two USB-C ports (one on each side, each with an associated LED), and a 3.5mm headphone jack. We do not really know how much the Pixelbook costs, but if we base ourselves on similar Pixelbook and Pixel Slate models, we would not be surprised if the price starts at $ 799.
