A plane carrying a banner calling Donald Trump “the worst president of all time” was seen this weekend near Mar-a-Lago, his golf course in Florida where he has been staying since leaving the White House.
One plane was spotted with a banner reading “Trump the worst president ever” while another read “Trump, pathetic loser, return to Moscow,” media including TMZ reported.
The banners have been spotted by several people, including Daniel Uhlfelder, a lawyer who posted photos of the banners on Twitter.
No one has yet claimed responsibility for funding the stunt.

The banner echoes a similar incident in 2018 when a man flew a paraglider over Trump’s Turnberry Golf Resort in Scotland to protest the president’s visit to that country. The paraglider followed a message saying “Trump: way below #resist.”
Trump was spotted golfing at Mar-a-Lago over the weekend, where he has been since he flew from Washington, DC, last week before President Joe Biden’s inauguration.
According to an author of a book on the Florida resort town, the mood there has become “despondent” there since Trump moved in, with wealthy members fearful of being featured in the papers on the president, who faces multiple legal issues now that he’s not president any longer.
“A lot of people have left Mar-a-Lago … It’s a sad place for Trump to hang out,” Laurence Leamer, author of ‘Mar-a-Lago: Inside the Gates of Power at Donald Trump’s Presidential Palace “, told MSNBC.
Some of Trump’s new neighbors are also unhappy at the prospect of living full time at Mar-A-Lago in Mar-A-Lago.
A group of them wrote to Palm Beach officials and the U.S. Secret Service last year, claiming that Trump did not have a legal right to live in the complex, the Washington Post reported. They cited legal precedent of an agreement he signed in 1993 to turn the residence into a members’ club.
