JACKSONVILLE, Florida – A charter plane carrying 143 people and traveling from Cuba to northern Florida was found in a river at the end of a runway on Friday night, without any serious injury or death. have been reported, officials said.
A Boeing 737 arriving at the Naval Air Station in Jacksonville from the Guantanamo Bay Naval Base (Cuba), with 136 passengers and seven crew members, slid off the landing strip to get to the St. Johns River, announced a NAS Jacksonville press release.
