"Planet Zoo" is the modern "Zoo Tycoon" we've been waiting for since

Frontier – the manufacturers of Planet coaster and Evolution of the Jurassic World – announced that Zoo Planet will arrive for PCs this fall. You will be able to create beautiful landscapes and habitats, develop specialized exhibitions and research new technologies while building a zoo appreciated by visitors and your animals.

This is not the very first zoo simulation game, of course – we've seen a few iterations of Zoo Tycoon before. But unlike previous park-inspired simulation games, your visitors will not be your priority because animal welfare is one of the top priorities of Planet zoo. All creatures, from cubs to elephants, have complex environmental and social needs, and you will be responsible for feeding them throughout their lives, while ensuring that money continues to enter.
