Play one of the best games of the decade on Xbox Game Pass before it goes soon

Xbox Game Pass gives gamers an extensive roster of hard-hitting titles available on Xbox One and PC for $ 9.99 per month. Subscribers can play any of the hundreds of games included in the service, provided that Microsoft does not remove them. For the most part, Xbox exclusives will stay there permanently, but third-party titles will eventually leave the Game Pass library.

Red Dead Redemption 2 will leave Xbox Game Pass September 7, 2020, which means you only have a few weeks to play Rockstar Games Western 2018. Game Pass subscribers can’t keep titles that bid farewell to the Xbox service, so stand up because this open world adventure is nothing short of a doozy.

The players take on the role of Arthur Morgan, a high-ranking member of the Van der Linde gang, led by charismatic con artist Dutch van der Linde. The game resumes just after the gang narrowly escaped a botched ferry heist in 1899, forcing them to evacuate their hideout near a town called Blackwater so they can start fresh in a nearby area.

A few members of Van der Linde’s squad might look familiar to you if you’ve played Red Dead Redemption (2010). RDR 2 is a prequel to the events that take place in Rockstar’s original western. In fact, the protagonist of RDR, John Marston, is also part of the gang with which Arthur spends his time.

RDR 2The massive map covers five fictional states of the United States, all of which Arthur will have to explore as his gang of misfits and outlaws find themselves in more shady cases.

Each area has its own unique environment, wildlife, and inhabitants which are all completely unique, some even requiring Arthur to wear special clothing to cross safely. The Lemoyne swamps are home to the game’s largest city, Saint Denis, while the snow-capped peaks of Ambarino showcase some of the game’s most raw depictions of beautiful natural surroundings.

It is up to the players to decide what kind of man Arthur will be on his journey with the Van der Linde gang.

Random world events will present players with moral and ethical dilemmas, like should Arthur rob or save the woman trapped under his own horse? Or should he help a criminal escape the police or get them to collect the bounty? Players can turn Arthur into a rightful vigilante or a ruthless bandit – or they can fight for the more chaotic in-between.

The game also offers an almost endless number of options for customizable hairstyles, clothing, and weapons which can all be mixed and matched to player content. Red Dead Online gives players even more customization options, allowing them to create their own outlaw and roam the map with their own gun crew.

The world of RDR 2 is alive and breathing, with an almost 48 hour main storyline and hundreds of hours of side missions, challenges, and online activities. All the Xbox gamers who still haven’t made it to the border should put on their boots and break their spurs … because there is work to be done, partner.
