On Reddit, a PlayStation gamer discovered an awesome and easy way to customize the PS5. All it takes is a post-it and a PS5. Of course, the latter is almost impossible to find at the moment, but everyone has the former. Once you have these two items, all you need to do is cut the T-shaped post-it and glue it under the logo in the corner of the console. If you do this correctly, it will turn the PlayStation logo on the console into whatever color the post-it note is. Of course, this isn’t the biggest redesign, but it does allow you to bring some color to the console, and unlike most changes, there’s no risk here.
As you might expect, this genius discovery made it to the top of the PS5 Reddit page, with 77,000 votes and nearly 1,000 comments. Naturally, the discovery was made by “Try2GetFamous”, who shared the image below with a brief description of how to copy the trick.
Unlike many other console changes made as part of the customization, this one also won’t void the warranty, which is very important. Not only has the PS5 had a lot of issues since its launch, but it’s still in its infancy, so who knows how it will hold up.
At the time of publication, Sony has not announced any additional PS5 models, which means if you want the next-gen machine, you’ll have to copy the standard white and black design. However, Sony recently announced a new PS5 stock and also recently surprised PS5 and PS4 gamers with a surprise giveaway.
