PlayStation Plus free games announced for February 2021

PlayStation Plus subscribers will have access to three games in February: Ultimate Edition control, Concrete engineering, and AllStars Destruction. All three games will be available for download starting Tuesday, February 2.

Ultimate Edition control is Remedy Entertainment’s reissue of its 2019 game, and includes the Foundation and ADMIRATION expansions in addition to the main game. Remedy and publisher 505 Games have not been short of heat for the way they handled the sale of the Ultimate Edition of the game, as the existing owners of Control couldn’t upgrade to the bundle – they had to buy it separately for $ 39.99. Hopefully some PlayStation gamers resisted and can now play Ultimate Edition on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 as part of their PS Plus membership.

Concrete engineering is Pixelopus’ 2019 action-adventure game that sends players to the dark seaside town of Denska, where players can conjure magical geniuses through brilliant graffiti. It is available for download on PlayStation 4 and supports PlayStation VR.

Finally, AllStars Destruction will launch on PlayStation 5 through PlayStation Plus. Initially planned for the launch of the system (but postponed to February), AllStars Destruction is an “action-packed sporting event that pits drivers against each other in intense competition,” according to Sony. As previously announced, AllStars Destruction will be available for two months via PS Plus.

PlayStation Plus subscribers can still download January games, Maneater, Shadow of the Tomb Raider, and Greedfall, until February 1.
