On Twitter, The emerald archer and Christopher Khan also reported a £ 10,000 version of GreedFall, while the issue has also been spotted in European regions, the prices being exchanged for euros.
It is not known at the time of writing what is causing the issue, or how widespread it is, but the screenshots released seem to indicate that this is an issue on the PS4 version of the store in especially – we were unable to reproduce the problem on PS5 or browsers.
The pricing problem seems to have been showing up since at least the end of last year. On December 27, Raymond Chan of the IGN UK Podcast Facebook group spotted Dead Cells at £ 10,000, while Garyz saw on Twitter Friday the 13th at the same price last week. We reached out to Sony for comment.
In other PS4 news, Sony Japan reportedly announced today that it will be dropping all PS4 Pro models, and all but one PS4 Slim model, in order to manufacture more PS5s. However, Sony Interactive Entertainment CEO Jim Ryan has made it clear that he will continue to support the PS4 with games until at least 2022.
If you’ve recently bought a PS5, we’ve got some tips on hidden PS5 features and settings, along with a guide on the best way to transfer data from your PS4 to your new console.
