PlayStation Studios to release first-ever Xbox One game

There had been speculation that, with the coronavirus ongoing, Sony might choose to wait until next year to bring its flagship baseball simulation to non-PlayStation platforms – but MLB The Show box leaked. 21 seems to confirm that this is not the case. Here we see footage of the PlayStation 5 and Xbox One versions, with the full branding of PlayStation Studios. It will take some getting used to.

This year’s coverage focuses, perhaps unsurprisingly, on San Diego Padres shortstop Fernando Tatís Jr, who made his MLB debut a few years ago. There are no further details at this time, but we do know that a full reveal is scheduled for February. It’s also likely that Nintendo Switch and PC versions will be available at launch – bonkers, eh?
