Some great deals on some of the biggest hits of the year
Sony hosts its PlayStation Summer Sale, offering many games on the PlayStation Store. And there are a lot of games for sale.
Listing them might take a bit of time, but you can scroll through the full list on the PlayStation Blog or search the deals section on the PlayStation Store. There are a few offerings worth highlighting, however, especially if you’re looking to catch up on some of the big games of the past couple of years.
For PlayStation 5 owners, this sale seems like a good way to stock up on new games for your shiny new console. Both Return and Demon souls are discounted by 29%, so those fancy graphics can fit into a slimmer budget. A few more cross-gen PS5 games are on sale, 30% off Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales, 25% reduction on the cooperative puzzle It takes two, and a surprising reduction of 50% Hitman 3of the standard edition.
There are discounts on other major games, like Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, Riders, and Marvel’s Avengers, but I also want to highlight a specific game. Last years 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim is a whopping 55% off, bringing the price down on the US PlayStation Store to $ 26.99. It’s a really awesome game from Vanillaware, and it’s a great price to grab it.
Either way, this year’s PlayStation summer sale looks like a good way to stock up on last year’s big hits, before another season of big game releases begins. The sale begins today, July 21, and ends Wednesday, August 18. PlayStation also notes that some additional games will join the promotion in two weeks on August 4th, so it’s worth checking back afterwards to see if there are any more big games on sale.
