A woman’s TikTok of her discovery of a two-way mirror is terrifying.

A family were horrified to discover a secret two-way mirror and mysterious camera wires in the bathroom wall of their new home.

Annabell Mickelson, 18, posted the discovery on TikTok. Her family had just moved into a house in Arizona and first realized that something suspicious was going on when they couldn’t remove a mirror from the wall.

“I’m a little scared,” Mickelson wrote captioned the video, which now has nearly 3 million views.

In the video, Mickelson’s family can be seen examining the bathroom walls with the mirror. After dissecting the wall, the group realizes that it is hiding a small room filled with electrical cords, cabinets, and a secret two-way mirror.

Mickelson herself then scratches the back of the immovable mirror with a razor to show that it is a coat of paint, suggesting it was a two-way mirror.

“We were right!” she captioned the find. “It was a two-way mirror! We messed up the mirror but hey.

“Please inform the police of this!” an affected user commented.

“I’m scared now,” added another. “I have a mirror like this and our owner told us we couldn’t take it apart.

“The [is] no [way] you came across this at random, ”someone wrote. “Didn’t you look at the house first?” I’m sure they’ll tell you before you buy the house.

“We didn’t know about it,” Mickelson explained.

Many TikTokers debunked the two-way mirror theory and suggested that the setup could have been for an aquarium or a television.

“[It’s] an integrated aquarium and [they] painted the glass to be a mirror afterwards to save a big hole in the wall, ”said one of them.

But in a follow-up video, Mickelson didn’t seem convinced it could be anything other than a two-way mirror.

“It was a party house,” she explained. “The neighbors told us… There is a hole in my yard that contains $ 20,000 and someone came to ask for money afterwards. [the previous owner] deceased. “

Although the $ 20,000 is unverified and Mickelson insists his family had no idea, for now, they are keeping the house. But TikTok seemed worried that there might be other things hidden on the mysterious property.

“Please be careful not to over reveal your home or its layout,” someone commented. “You never know who is asking for it or what their intentions are.”
