Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl Could Make Upgrading Much Easier

[ad_1]

It seems that the next versions of Shiny Diamond Pokémon and Shiny pearl will allow trainers to upgrade their Pokémon more easily than it would have been in the original titles. Specifically, each remake seems to incorporate a feature that was found in both. Pokemon Sword and Protect. And while developer Game Freak has yet to confirm that it will be included in the game, some fans have apparently discovered the new system in a rather roundabout way.

Found by a fan on Reddit, the official Shiny Diamond Pokémon and Shiny pearl website mentions that the games will contain the Pokemon Nursery. If you’re unfamiliar with what it is, the Nursery simply allows Pokemon to breed, but unlike the Nursery, which has been seen in many older entries in the series, it doesn’t increase their global level. However, to balance this change, Pokemon Sword and Protect introduces a new element called Exp. Candy that allowed Pokemon to level up faster than they normally would.

Since Shiny Diamond Pokémon and Shiny pearl seems to feature this nursery, fans have deduced that this likely means the nursery will be completely gone again. And as such, there seems to be a high probability that Exp. Candy will also show up to fill this void. All in all, that would make a bit of sense since these remakes already incorporate a lot of other ideas from Sword and Protect.

In a general sense, Exp. Candy has been a subject of division within the Pokémon community. While some love this feature, others feel it goes against the heart of the Pokemon series. However, if the article ends up appearing in Shiny Diamond Pokémon and Shiny pearl, that would make leveling up the Pokemon you can find in Sinnoh easier than ever.

When it comes to the actual launch of Shiny Diamond Pokémon and Shiny pearl, both titles are expected to hit stores next month on November 19. And as expected with this release, both titles will only be available for purchase on Nintendo Switch.

What do you think of seeing this element introduced in Shiny Diamond Pokémon and Shiny pearl? And would you have preferred to see the return of daycare instead? Let me know either in the comments or hit me up on Twitter at @ Mooreman12.
