In addition to the franchise, The Pokémon Company (TPC) gave another look at Shiny Diamond Pokémon and Shiny pearl during .
The chibi art style didn’t receive the warmest of welcomes during TPC earlier this year, but the latest trailer might fix some issues. Games have a tilt-shift perspective, similar to remake. As such, the character designs might not be as noticeable.
Both games are remakes of , a pair of Nintendo DS titles from 2006 that are some of the most beloved Pokémon games. So, there might be a bit of pressure on TPC and developer ILCA from the fans to get these new releases properly.
In the remakes, you can customize your trainer’s outfit and adorn the Poké Balls with stickers, which add a visual touch when you toss a Pokémon. There are also several mini-games, such as mining in the Grand Underground and a cuteness contest.
The starting Pokémon choices are Piplup, Chimchar, and Turtwig, and you can have one of your Pokémon following you as you explore the Sinnoh region. You can also dive into online battles.
Shiny Diamond Pokémon and Shiny pearl will land on Nintendo Switch on November 19. There are a few pre-order bonuses, including a code you can redeem for a dozen fastballs. TPC also revealed that Pokémon Home support is coming to Shiny diamond, shiny pearl and Pokémon Legends: Arceus Next year.

Along with the latest preview of Pokemon Diamond and Pearl, TPC has unveiled a new special edition of Switch Lite. It has a metallic gray shell and is adorned with stickers from Dialga and Palkia on the back. The $ 200 Special Edition console, which is based on a similar version of the old-fashioned DS, will be available on November 5.
