It’s hard to believe it’s been 5 years since the release of one of the world’s biggest mobile titles. In 2016, players would wake up and explore their worlds with only the option to capture the first 151 Pokémon. With tons of updates, additional Pokémon, and new features Pokémon Go continues to bring new experiences to its loyal player base. For the game’s 5th anniversary, Niantic provided players with additional Field Research tasks to complete. This guide will show players what rewards come with each Exclusive Field Research task.

A big reason why players will want to complete Field Research tasks for the 5th Anniversary is directly related to this event’s collecting challenge. Collectible challenges were introduced earlier in the year and will allow the player to capture specific Pokémon within a time limit. At the end of this challenge, players will be rewarded with items and an exclusive medal that can be stacked. The medal does nothing but serves as a trophy for successfully completing this challenge. For this Collectible Challenge, players will need to capture all of the Starter Pokémon available in the game, including Pikachu. Here are all the field research tasks to make this hunt a little easier.
