Pokémon Go Electabuzz Community Day Guide: Start Time & Best Moves

[ad_1]

Pokémon GoElectabuzz Community Day will be held on November 15 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. in your local time zone.

The event will feature Electabuzz in abundance, with a high chance of finding the Pokemon as a shiny, along with several other perks. Keep in mind that Electabuzz needs a Sinnoh Stone to evolve, but it’s likely that these will be rewarded with Field Research throughout the event.

How to get a Shiny Electabuzz?

Since Electabuzz will appear everywhere, just tap on each Electabuzz you see until you get a bright one. You’ll find one sooner or later, as the Community Days shine rate is increased to around one in 24.

A comparison for Shiny Elekid, Electabuzz and Electivire to their normal forms. Shiny Elekid is a lighter yellow, Shiny Electabuzz is orange, and Electivire is a darker yellow with blue accents.

What special movement does Electivire learn?

When it evolves from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on November 15, Electivire will learn the flamethrower. This makes Electivire better for PvP, but not particularly meta-relevant.

How to make the most of this community day?

The hatching distance of the eggs will be reduced to 14 the usual amount, so definitely use whatever incubators you have. Notably, the only way to get a Shiny Elekid is to hatch one and Elekid will hatch from two mile eggs. Since this is the first community day with a baby Pokemon like this, we don’t know if the shine rate of Elekid Outbreaks is increased, but it’s worth a try.

Electivire is one of the best PvE attackers in the game for gyms and raids. Give the Thunder shock and Wild load and he’s only beaten by the Legendary Zekrom and Shadow Pokémon. If you’re really trying to be the best of the best, take out Team Go Rocket at Poké Stops to try and catch a Shadow Electivire, who is the best Electric-type attacker in the game.

Electivire is also quite good in the Ultra League for PvP. Give the Thunder shock, Wild load, and Ice punch, and it will do serious damage. Again, her Shadow form is much stronger, so grab one if you can.

If you decide which Shiny Electabuzz to evolve at the end of the day, try using one of the new search strings. Sort your “mons by”recent“Using the icon at the bottom right, then type”4 *»In the search box at the top. This will let you know if you have an Electabuzz 100% IV. Most people won’t be that lucky, so then you’ll want to type “3 *In the search box, which will show you all “recent mons” of 80% or more. Rate them to see which one is better, then level up your new buddy!
