Latias appeared for the first time in Pokemon Go last May alongside her twin, Latios. Niantic says that the blue Pokemon of Eon will also come back for a special weekend "at a later date", although he has not yet specified when. You can read more details about this weekend's event on the official Pokemon Go website.

The above limited research event will take place on February 23rd. Just like a community day, it will only last three hours, during which players will be able to receive special PokeStops field research tasks. These will lead to an encounter with the Pokemon Clamperl, which has never been available before, and which can evolve towards Huntail or Gorebyss.

On top of that, Niantic is organizing a special Meltan event at Go. Until March 4th, players will have a chance to meet a Shiny Meltan at the opening of the Mystery Box. The legendary Gen 4 Palkia can also be found in battle battles until February 28th.
