Towards the end of the Pokemon GO Bug Out event, a set of codes appeared in the back end of the game, indicating a new candidate. It is a new form of Mewtwo, one of the most epic Pokémon of the game – and even the history of the series. If what we've seen this weekend is true, the latest version of the original Pokemon movie is a good sign of what will happen in the game!
Three "forms" of Mewtwo are now in the Pokemon GO game code. They include Mewtwo_A = 133, Mewtwo_A_Intro = 134 and Mewtwo_Normal = 135. This code update also included a change in the way Incense invoked Pokemon. In the near future, Incense will work with new "forms" as well as originals. You will have the chance to see a brilliant Pokémon in front of your door! We were told that Armored Mewtwo had been considered in the recent past – whether or not he made the final cut, we'll see!
An update of the search parameters was also done this week. If you usually look for "babies", you now want to search for "eggsonly". That's right, even if it's not reasonable and creates a much more confusing set of rules, when it comes to doing it – but that's what it is!
The updated version 0.139.1 included references to Adventure Sync V2 with notifications for nearby Pokemon / Special items. Descriptions have been added for a number of new Alolan Pokemon in the Pokedex. A set of new poses have been added for male and female users, including: Go Time, Left Side Position, Right Side Position, Power Pose, Hard Position, Pokeball Exposure, Sassy Pokeball, Award-Winning Pokeball , Flex Pokeball, Pokeball support and slow motion. New badges will come into play on April 18th, and even more on March 19th, 20th, 21st and 22nd.
While Niantic had previously indicated that there would be a Pokemon GO Safari Zone event in Germany this year, a wide variety of Safari Zone tasks lead us to believe that this event could be more widespread. Tasks added to Safari Zone's list include: win candies to walk with a Pokemon buddy, catch a Pokémon, use berries to catch Pokémon, send gifts, rotate poke-stops, hatching eggs , use Nanab berries and Pinap berries.
A new set of free and scheduled raids has been added (with no specific dates / times) near a campaign event button, as well as new images for PokeStops and promotional gyms. Users will soon find more features and (probably) bonuses to interact with Lucky Friends.
UPDATE: There will be at least one major event in April (outside of the list of dates mentioned above). Niantic revealed today that April 10, 2019, from noon. at 1:00 pm there will be another legendary lunch hour in your local time zone. During this limited event, users will discover "an increased number of five-star raids featuring Origin Form Giratina during the time of the event".
