Pokémon Tricky Event 2021 | Pokémon GO Hub

[ad_1]

This year, April Fool’s Day brings a return to the Tricky Pokémon event. Previous years have seen April Fool’s Day bring 8-bit sprites, photobombs, increased Ditto activity, and Pokémon notorious for misbehaving, and this year seems to bring the same.

Trainers, The Tricky Pokémon event is back, and mischievous Pokémon seem to be causing more trouble than usual! Throughout Thursday, April 1, 2021, Pokémon prone to harm will appear in the wild more often – some of them may even be the same in disguise! Some of these seem to be causing problems for Team GO Rocket as well, so now is the perfect time to complete Team GO Rocket’s timed search and save Shadow Zapdos from Giovanni’s clutches!

Date and hour

Thursday, April 1, 2021, 12:00 p.m. – 11:59 p.m. local time

Wild spawns

Pokémon prone to harm – like Aipom, Croagunk, and Purrloin – will appear in the wild more often!

Same will appear in the wild more frequently during the event, so be sure to catch some Pokémon that Ditto is known to transform into! Ditto will transform from more Pokémon species than before, including Purrloin, and this will continue after the event ends. There is no mention of Shiny Ditto in the Niantic blog post, so we can’t say if he’ll be available at this event.

New Shadow Pokémon

Sources tell us that Team GO Rocket Grunts will only have Shadow Aipom on their teams during the event. They thought that catching Aipom would put an end to their pranks – but how wrong they were!

GO Rocket Team

Team GO Rocket will spawn more often at PokéStops and in balloons.

The Team GO Rocket timed search launch at this event will be available from Thursday, April 1, 2021 at 12:00 p.m. until Thursday, April 8, 2021 at 11:59 p.m. local time. Complete it within this time limit to earn Super Rocket Radar and other rewards.

This timed search will help you save Shadow Zapdos from Giovanni.

GO Battle League Impact

The switch timer in the GO Battle League will be halved! Could this be more Pokémon mischief at work?

Snapshots

Take a few shots for a surprise!

Shiny Pokemon

With no announcement of a shiny new Pokémon, there is still plenty to hunt during this event!
