Pokémon Unite Ver 1.1.1.3 Patch Notes – July 28

TiMi Studio has officially released the first big update for Pokémon UNITE, adding Gardevoir to the game as the 21st playable Pokémon, as well as some bug fixes.

Unfortunately, the update, listed as version 1.1.1.3, did not come with a full list of patch notes, as it only fixed very specific elements of the game. However, a change has occurred. maybe fundamentally reworked the way Charizard will play in the future.

TiMi noted that with the release of Gardevoir, the other major element updated was how “the Muscle Band was not acting as intended when equipped by Charizard.”

Most Charizard builds use the attack boost element because it is a melee attacker, allowing it to deal more damage. And, while we didn’t get any detailed ratings on the patch, it looks like the Pokémon was pretty heavily nerfed.

According to some players in the community, the nerf comes in the form of the Muscle Band which is no longer applied to every auto attack used by Charizard. Instead, the item will only empower all other auto attacks, greatly reducing the amount of damage the Fire / Flying type can deal.

The main reason many players believe this change has been made is due to Charizard’s Unite Move Seismic Slam. Prior to this nerf, Muscle Band improved every auto attack used during the Unite movement, making it extremely powerful and fast, and very capable of dealing with multiple opponents, even Zapdos.

Apart from those two big parts, the rest of the update appears to have been used to fix smaller bugs and add a few updates to the in-game text.
