– My frame was not perfect, because I could not. After a long pass, the Swede quickly left alone with the goalkeeper. All I could do, was to widen the angle of view. I fled to the diagonal. It is hard to say if Boateng's dam would be different if I assessed this situation more closely – Marciniak admitted in an interview with Paweł Kapusta, journalist sportfakty.wp.pl
And added: – After 10-15 In a few seconds, VAR m gave a message saying that he had finished checking the situation. After interrupting the game, I informed the players that the situation had been verified. And finally – he stressed the best Polish judge
Among the allegations directed at Marciniak was, among others, ignore the VAR system. Marciniak pointed out that it was nonsense
– it's absurd. There is no possibility that the judge does not use the system. I do not know who and for what purpose disseminates the absurdities that I feel more vigorous than VAR, that I ignore the system and that I want to judge without it. It's a lie – says the 37-year-old referee.
