The British cinema operator Vue International, to which belongs Multikino, buys the Cinema 3D Polish cinema network. The amount of the transaction is not disclosed, but it will be funded by Vue's own funds. The 11 cinemas of the acquired network will soon change name to become Multikino

Cinema 3D is the fourth largest network of cinemas in the Polish market, founded in 2010 in Legnica as a family business. Currently, it consists of 11 multiplexes with 49 screens, mainly located in malls in medium and small cities including Tarnów, Głogów, Biała Podlaska, Kłodzko, Leszno, Świnoujście or in Gdańsk. Three other cinemas are under construction, including two in Warsaw – Atrium Reduta CH and Galeria Młociny under construction. All network multiplexes are 100%.

As a result of the transaction, the facilities under the name Cinema 3D will be rebranding and will be part of the Multikino chain, which has 32 multiplexes in Poland with 263 rooms. Vue International has owned this network since 2013, when acquired Multikino from the ITI group (former TVN operator) for 48 million euros.
