At the meeting, Trump and European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker will discuss the steel and aluminum tariffs imposed on the European Union earlier this year. In retaliation, the European Union imposed its own tariffs on US goods. Economists say that Trump's tariff negotiations with Europe, as well as China, could lead to trade wars that could raise prices for consumers around the world.
