The Ministry of the Environment wants to focus on wooden houses
The Ministry of Environment has submitted to the Diet a draft amendment to the Forest Law. According to the proposed regulations, a new society must be created, which will build wooden houses in state forests.
As we read on Sejm's website, the project was sent on first reading in committee on Wednesday
is supposed to be a new corporation, it must be an operating housing operator as part of the Mieszkanie + program. The company is to create State Forests, the National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management and Ochrony Środowiska Bank. The last two institutions have to invest money to build houses. On the other hand, state forests must bring land to the project

The Ministry of Environment praises that wood is an environmentally friendly, energy-saving, economical, sustainable building, allowing for easy rebuilding. In addition, wooden houses grow much faster than stone houses.
