In front, we will immediately recognize the model we love in Europe – Focus has retained its character, has become more modern and much sharper. The back and side line is already a mix of the old Focus with several other cars in the class. All, however, has given a great effect, and the European branch of the brand has designed, in my opinion, one of the most beautiful cars in the category. Of course, the new Focus is the best in the ST-Line edition and in the blue or red lacquer. Inside the new Ford Focus
The interior of the new Ford Focus makes a very good first impression. It is spacious, elegant and ergonomic. As part of the order, many buttons have disappeared, but the most important have been – volume knob, music control and air conditioning control panel. But a big plus for Ford. Placed up on the 8 inch screen of the SYNC 3 system, we do not need to leave our eyes off the road. Another advantage is the large and bright head-up display on which the most important information is displayed.

The hatchback luggage compartment will hold 375 l, and the combo 608 l (counted for the shelf under the rear window). At the front, we have a large storage compartment in the armrest and a large phone shelf with optional inductive charging. There are also large cupholders, so that two large coffees can fit comfortably.
Execution? We had the opportunity to familiarize ourselves with the Titanium Focus, ST-Line and Vignale, so the most expensive ones. Hard plastics can be found at the bottom of the door panels and the storage compartment in front of the passenger. The rest of the elements are covered with leather or pleasant to the touch, made of soft plastic. The Focus is doing very well in the context of the competition.

Drive Units of the New Ford Focus
The new generation is a great revolution under the hood of Focus. The offer includes entirely new engines and transmissions. Above all, both EcoBoosts are three-cylinder engines, and until the appearance of any sport version of the new Focus on the gasoline side, we will not find the R4 engine. We can choose between two gearboxes: 6-speed manual or 8-speed automatic
Petrol engines:
- 1.0 EcoBoost with 100 or 125 HP
- 1.5 EcoBoost with 150 or 182 hp
Diesel engines: [19659026] 1.5 EcoBlue of a power of 95 or 120 hp
At a test drive, I drove a Focus with a 1.5 petrol engine EcoBoost . The first day of the 150 horsepower version with the machine. The new chest works very well. In normal driving, it changes gear instantly and almost imperceptibly. When I had to drive more dynamically on the stretch of the mountain, there were no problems of reduction and sporty driving either. Ford boasts that the intelligent system detects the driving style of the driver and after a few kilometers fits the current route.
Unfortunately, feel the American pedigree of the machine. The declared fuel consumption is higher than that of the manual gearbox from 0.7 to 1.0 l / 100 km, and during actual driving – even more. The high fuel consumption is probably the only objection to the 1.5 EcoBoost duo and the machine that I have.
The second day, I checked the stronger version of this engine, with the manual and the ST-Line version. EcoBoost is dynamic and offers very good performance (8.2 s at hundreds and 222 km / h), but you have to get used to a 3-cylinder construction. At the bottom of the diet, you feel a power shortage, and the engine needs to be turned (it becomes tearful at around 3-3,500 rounds) to utilize its potential. This, in turn, results in higher fuel consumption and loss of benefits for the R3 engine. It seems to me that a 4-cylinder engine would be much better in such a strong version

Very good! Although I missed a bit of character for this brand of flash. I am a fan of how to run Ford – to engage and provide a lot of fun to drive. These are the cars you just want to drive.
This is no different in the new Focus. It works well, is precise, resilient, compact, has corners, and is always hungry for sharper turns. Especially in the ST-Line version slightly hardened and reduced. However, I have the impression that this does not stand out from the competitors, as can be expected. Much closer to the Golf or the I30 than the sharp Civica X. The new Focus is the segment leader, but is the best-performing car in the category? Me, Ford fan, I had better fun with the Honda wheel

The price is very good compared to the competition. Unfortunately, after a while, after the starting promotion, he jumped to 72.200 PLN which is already a high starting amount. The new Ford Focus is at the top of the segment. It is a model of a compact, universal and modern car in all respects decent. In the new Focus, it's hard to find a flaw, and everything has been refined with great care, and Ford's every task, which usually stands in front of the CD, will meet a good five. Focus follows the road established by Golf – it is very good in all categories, but it lacks a bit of a claw or uniqueness. Such a charm of this class. On the negative side, I would only write a big fuel appetite with the PLC and no R4 engine in the strongest version. The rest, with the head in mind, is the first series of the segment.
