Maja W³oszcowska started her race at Val di Sole from a difficult starting position. For most of the competition, she had to chase her head. She managed to run the fifth to last round and did not leave until the end.
For the second time, Polka won at Val di Sole. Previously, she triumphed there in 2010. Sunday's win is also her first World Cup triumph since 2012. Thanks to him, she was promoted to fourth place overall
. Just behind Włoszczowski, Canadian Emily Batty reached the finish line, who lost the win at nine seconds. Lucanda Neff (30 seconds of defeat) was third in the standings
The other Polish women occupied quite distant positions. Katarzyna Solus-Mi¶kowicz was 23rd, Paula Gorycka 40th, and Aleksandra Podgórska 45. The race for the accident was not completed by the leader of the general classification P |, Dunka Annika Langvad.
From next week (14/15 July) competition of road bikes will move to Vallnord in Andorra.
