Two men drowned on a Sunday in the Baltic Sea near Karwia Beach near Władysławowo. The tragedy occurred when one of them began to drown and the other wanted to save him. "The men were swimming side by side in the sea and probably they did not know each other at all. At one point, one of them began to sink and the other decided to help him. Unfortunately, both of them drowned – the spokesman for Puck's municipal headquarters, Sergeant Ewa Bresińska, said.

The first of the men managed to get out of the water immediately, the other was searched for about thirty minutes. There was also an air rescue emergency service helicopter which, as reported by one of the rescuers, carried one of the men to the hospital. – Despite the resuscitation measures taken immediately after the release of water, both men died – the police woman intervened.

The victims are a 43-year-old man from Mazowieckie and a two-year-old from Łódź.
