The price is influenced by the distance from the center's airport and its location – inside the city or on the outskirts where the second fare is calculated. All figures presented come from mytaxi internal data, refer to the city center and include a fixed fee (called lump sum) offered by mytaxi.
For each budget – up to EUR 20
Top of the list, among the selected European cities, Lodz – from Lubin airport, on Piotrkowska street we will pay on average 22 PLN, and the trip will take about 20 minutes. Similarly, we will allocate a small budget for a trip to Poznań – 26 PLN. Warsaw, on the other hand, seems to be the least expensive capital of the EU because we will pay on average 27 PLN from Chopin Airport to the Palace of Culture. In the group of the cheapest routes from the airport in Europe, there was also the capital of Portugal – at Lisbon's central station Baixa Chiado, we reach a maximum of 15 euros.
Taxi services at airports located outside cities are more expensive. where the second tariff applies: in Krakow, Gdańsk and Katowice. In these cities, mytaxi offers fixed lump sum payments of PLN 55 for the airports of Kraków-Balice and Gdańsk-Rębiechów and PLN 97 in Katowice-Pyrzowice. The average tipping value granted to mytaxi drivers in Polish cities on the airport-center routes is 10%. In addition, throughout the month of July, all mytaxi courses for access and return from the airport of Warsaw (Chopin Airport), Krakow and Gdansk, with the option "Pay via Application "are 25% cheaper.
Average shelf among the airport routes – up to 40 EUR
Among the cities whose airport taxi fares are on a similar level, there is, between others, Barcelona, from El Prat airport to Plaza Catalunya. for about 25 euros, in less than 30 minutes. mytaxi in Madrid offers a fixed rate of 30 euros for an airport located about 30 kilometers from the city center. In Porto, the airport is located in the suburbs, but the price of the airport in the city center is relatively low, up to 23 euros. Dublin, Berlin, Hamburg and Vienna are cities whose prices on the airport-center link are close: from 28 to 34 euros.
The most expensive cities – 40 euros and over
The taximeter will display quite high prices when flying from London, Stockholm and Rome airports. To get to Heathrow – the largest airport in the British capital – you have to spend about 50 pounds (more than 56 euros), and the trip will take about 45 minutes. From Arlanda Central Airport to Stockholm, we will pay an average of 480 SEK for a taxi (around 48 EUR). When it comes to the airport Rome Fiumicino, access to the famous Colosseum for example, in mytaxi will always be the same: 48 EUR (fixed price). By far the most expensive trip, because of the distant position compared to the city center, is on the route Milan-Malpensa Airport – Piazza Duomo. The airport is located more than 50 km from the city, so the price is 95 euros (lump sum mytaxi).
