The autopsy of a 69-year-old mother and her 27-year-old son was performed. Their bodies were found in one of the apartments in Katowice. Most likely, there was an enlarged suicide.
– As for the man, the experts pointed out that the cause of death was the multi-organ injury typical of falls victims of a great height. In the case of a woman, however, the experts showed that she had suffered numerous injuries in the area of the head and chest. They also confirmed that she was strangled – said Danuta Dobosz, District Attorney of West Katowice in an interview with the newspaper dziennikzachodni.pl.
The direct cause of the woman's death must be explained by histopathological examinations. Additional toxicological tests were also ordered to show if the 27-year-old man had used drugs or alcohol before dying. The results of the autopsy suggest, however, that there has been increased suicide.
