Although the first of the third season of Stranger Things is still a distant future, from time to time new reports and pictures of the plan come to us. This time we got the official material in the form of advertising. The show is not promoted, however, and the subject, which will likely be in the new episodes.
Warning! The text contains spoilers from Stranger Things.
Known from the production of Netfliks Hawkins, Indiana is an apparently ordinary American city. Very normal teenagers go to school and spend their free time at home or in the playroom. Sometimes the area is haunted by creatures on the other side, and a secret lab is located nearby where experiments are conducted on the kids. However, with the exception of these elements, Hawkins is a classic city, as we know from hundreds of American productions from several decades ago.
Now the city where the Stranger Things campaign is taking place can reach a certain level. The material promotes the Starcourt Mall, which has not even been mentioned in previous seasons. We can therefore expect this place to appear only in the third part of the production.
Looking at the realities of the 1980s, it's a true ennoblement for Hawkins. At Starcourt Mall, there are popular American chains, such as Gap, Waldenbooks and Sam Goody. As befits a decent shopping mall, there are also several restaurants. Among them is the Scoops Ahoy Glacier, where Steve Harrington works
This looks like a little glimpse of what lies ahead in the third season of Stranger Things.
Probably Steve's job, which only wants to put on make-up by Nancy's heart, will not have too much impact on the whole story. However, the mall itself can be a fairly important event point. The advertisement itself indicates that it is a meeting place. Mike and the company will probably want to spend some time there, and where they are, there are usually problems. In addition, the brand new Starcourt Mall is the perfect target for other bloodthirsty beasts
The specific release date of the new episodes is not yet known, though it is said circa 2019
