The NBP gave the value of all outstanding banknotes in Poland

By comparison, ten years ago, in the second quarter of 2008, banknotes in circulation amounted to 1.03 billion in total and their value was PLN 88.2 billion

Moreover, according to information from the central bank It consumes on average 368 days before returning to the National Bank.

In the first quarter of this year, it was 358 days and in the fourth quarter of last year – 352 days

According to the Law on the National Bank of Poland of 29 August 1997, NBP has the right exclusive to issue the currency of the Republic of Poland. Notes issued by NBP are banknotes and coins

According to NBP, banknotes and coins used or damaged may be exchanged for a new bank in any bank operating in Poland
