English authorities are looking for three men after a boy was seriously injured in a suspected acid attack on Sunday.

A 3 year old boy was seriously injured during an acid attack at a shop frequented in England on Saturday, which the authorities deem to be deliberate.
West Merica police said in a statement that the incident had occurred around 2: 3 pm at Home Bargains, a discount store in Worcester, England.
"Right now, we are treating this as a deliberate attack on a three-year-old boy," said Mark Travis, West Merica Police Chief. "The incident will rightly shock the local community and I would like to reassure the local population that we are conducting a thorough investigation to identify those responsible."
Police said the boy had been treated at the hospital for severe burns to his arms and face, and was released later. Authorities said the long-term medical implications for the child are unknown, but they hope that he will not suffer life-altering injuries.

Authorities said a 39-year-old man was arrested because he was suspected of conspiring to to cause serious bodily harm.

Others were sought after to question Sunday and the police published photos to generate public advice. The men were in the shop and were seen walking near the little boy and left shortly after the attack.

Worcester City Council Leader Marc Bayliss described the attack as "an absolute evil" and asked anyone having information to manifest.
