The search for a 41-year-old Polish woman began in early July, when she did not return to the Pomorie hotel, where she spent holidays with her husband and his two children. According to the Bulgarian Ministry of the Interior, the police found the body of a woman in a wooded village near Pomorie. According to preliminary findings made in the presence of a medical examiner, the woman has committed suicide. The body was referred to the forensic department of the University Hospital of Burgas
Polka disappeared on June 30, four days after his arrival in Pomorie. Local police searched the area of the hotel, divers also participated in the search. The Ministry of the Interior has asked for help for any missing information. The call was broadcast on public radio in a national program. The Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Sofia was informed of the case and was in constant contact with the police.
