More than 73 thousand Pomorzans declared 300 PLN for a school kit under the new government program "Good Start".

– The highest number of claims was submitted to Gdańsk – 17.5 thousand, to Gdynia – 8.6 thousand, to Słupsk – 3.3 thousand, to Kolbudy – 722, and to Sządzi – 484 – voivode Deputy is calculated.

Since July 1, applications can be submitted under the new government program "Jumpstart". Parents can receive 300 PLN for a baby clothes. The benefit is available once a year for a child studying at school until the age of 20. Children with disabilities who study at school will receive them until the age of 24.
– This is an important program that supports families in this important period before school starts, when expenses increase sharply. We will spend more than PLN 105 million on benefits. We have already transferred 51 million to municipalities and districts, more than half of this sum – informs the Voivode of Pomerania.
The first transfers were sent to parents in mid-July
– We transferred the first funds for payment of benefits on July 11th. Gdańsk was the first to transfer money after two days – says Krystyna Kobylińska, deputy director of social protection in the Pomeranian Voivodship Office

. July and August are a guarantee of payment of benefits no later than September 30th. In the case of applications submitted in the following months, the municipalities will have a maximum of 2 months from the date of submission of the application for examination and payment of the benefit.
The deadline to apply for the "Jumpstart" service will expire on November 30, 2018. Applications will not be considered after this date.
