We received information about this incident from our users. As they wrote in an e-mail, the incident occurred after 17 at Helios cinema in Galeria Rzeszów. The ceiling had to collapse near the crates. The police did not intervene on site and there is no information on this incident.

The director of Helios cinema will issue an official statement on this subject, which we are waiting for. On the cinema site, there was information on the cancellation of screenings for technical reasons. Money for purchased tickets must be returned. The cinema will be closed until further notice.

We received an official statement from Helios Cinema.

– July 30 this year in Helios cinema in Galeria Rzeszów, there was a break in the structure of the suspended ceiling. The event was held in the cinema bar a few hours earlier, for security reasons, filmed by cinema staff. At the time of tearing the structure, none of the spectators who visited the cinema stayed close to the scene of the incident and was not injured. Therefore, the direction of the cinema did not inform any service of this incident. On the other hand, the information was provided immediately to the contractor responsible for the film construction work and the rental of the owner Galeria Rzeszów. Until the reasons for the situation are resolved and the consequences removed, the cinema will be closed. We will do our best to open the cinema to the viewers as soon as possible, and at this time Helios invites Rzeszów moviegoers to the second multiplex network of this city in Al.
