The deduction of the teenager occurred around 9 pm at the pedestrian crossing of the ul Wyspiański in Zielona Góra.
– The municipal police headquarters in Zielona Góra, who immediately asked the patrols to establish the circumstances of the incident, received information about the incident. Then it turned out that this place is being watched – informs Małgorzata Stanisławska of the Zielona Góra police.

The film shows how a girl walks along a sidewalk along the roadway and heads towards a pedestrian crossing. When she enters the street, a Volkswagen at speed hits her. Aged 17, he flies over the car and falls on the road. The driver of the car slows down but does not stop to help the victim. Instead, he leaves and leaves the premises without even warning the emergency services. The help of the injured teenager was only granted by passersby and drivers of other vehicles who called an ambulance. The seriously injured girl was taken to the hospital.
After watching the recording, the criminals started to move. They then determined which vehicle the driver drove and soon who he was.
– Stopping the man the same day proved impossible because he left the city to hide from the police – explains Stanisławska.

The 22-year-old man was arrested several hours after the incident. Together with him, they also arrested a 21-year-old woman. The police do not yet inform any charges against him.
– The man was taken to command and examined to detect the presence of narcotics in the body. The study showed that he was under the influence of amphetamine. In addition, the police found an amphetamine in his apartment – says Stanisławska.
He will be responsible for causing a traffic accident and being removed from the scene of the incident. In addition, he will also hear the alleged violation of the driving and drug possession prohibition by a court.
– The final decision of the sentence of the young man of 22 years will be decided by the court, which will also decide on the possible arrest of a man – explains Stanisławska.
