ZE PAK will build a farm from solar panels. Will invest 200 million zlotys

The energy activity of Zygmunt Solorz-Żak is developing towards renewable sources. ZE PAK wants to invest 200 million zlotys in a solar farm. The current of the solar panels could run out in two years.

The government project of Polish energy policy assumes a break with the wind industry, at least not the installation of new wind turbines on the mainland. The development of offshore wind farms and photovoltaic systems (solar collectors) will play a key role.

This strategy is part of the last plan of the Pątnów-Adamów-Konin Power Station (ZE PAK). The group controlled by billionaire Zygmunt Solorz-Zak, who also belongs to Cyfrowy Polsat, has obtained the approval of the supervisory board for the realization of an investment consisting in the construction of a solar park of An estimated capacity of about 70 MWp.

The expected cost of building a farm with a power generation system is expected to be about PLN 200 million.

"The planned farm is to be built on reclaimed land previously exploited in an area of ​​110 hectares, in the municipality of Brudzew in the Turkish district," said the statement.

The estimated duration of the investment will be about 24 months. This also includes the time needed for design, administrative decisions, etc.

At the same time, the company states that the implementation of the project requires obtaining the necessary administrative and legal authorizations and legal authorizations, as well as obtaining the desired financing structure for the project.

The ZE PAK group, whose parent company is Zespół Elektrowni Pątnów-Adamów-Konin, carries out lignite mining as well as the production and sale of electricity and heat.
