According to portal TVNWarszawa.pl, unusual events took place at Saska Kępa Technical High School in ul. Saska 78.
– It started in the morning by a nervous student who was not feeling well when she arrived at school. Then the following ones vanished. Their condition was so disturbing that school director Marek Kupiecki called an ambulance. A total of 13 female students lost consciousness, and one of the secretariat staff was also upset, however, rose quickly – said Andrzej Opala, spokesman for the district of Prague-Południe, cited by the portal.
8 girls arrived at the hospital.
– Adult students are observed in the faculty of grenadiers. Juveniles went to Niekłańska Hospital with one of the teachers. At 14 were still there. They will probably be on call until tomorrow, Opala added.
In total, more than 400 people were evacuated. Firefighters summoned to the site have taken measurements for high concentrations of gas or chemicals. However, the officers found nothing disturbing.
What could be the reason for so many fainting among students? A spokesman for the district of Praga-Południe underlines the emotional context.
– In no time, Monday and Tuesday, school No. 21 was the scene of two tragedies. First, the school received sad information about the death of a popular teacher. Tuesday, November 27, the car killed a 16-year-old student from Tarczyn, a student of this institution highly appreciated by his peers. Both reports could have caused emotional shock to the girls – said Andrzej Opala.
