In volleyball, the shipyard will soon declare bankruptcy, even if the season is just beginning (the first round took place in mid-October, the teams played 9 games, the yard ranks 5th out of 14 ). And you know what it is: money. Volleyball players do not receive a salary for several weeks. As part of the event, they stopped going to training. But the biggest scandal could break out Thursday. This day at 19:00, the team must play a league match against Trefl Gdańsk.
Some players seriously think not to join the meeting. It would be an unprecedented "game". On Tuesday, "Radio Szczecin" reported that the players of the team had lost all desire to play.
In this situation, volleyball players are the least guilty, such a gesture would be a next act of struggle for theirs. It is difficult to understand how PlusLiga could allow a club to play, which probably did not have a big sponsor, and had signed contracts with recognized brand volleyball players. Bartosz Kurek, in September, led the Polish team to the gold medal at the world championships. He was recognized as the best volleyball player in the tournament.
In turn, Matej Kazijski was once considered the best host in the world and Łukasz Żygadło is a well known representative of Poland. The club also shot the famous sports director. Radostin Stojczew led a Galactic Trentin a few years ago, winning the Champions League three times in a row and four times in a row at the World Club Championships.
To be able to download such stars, they had to offer appropriate revenues. Whatever the case may be, it is sufficient to quote the most recent information from Wednesday: the press service of the city of Szczecin announced that the representatives of the club had requested emergency assistance of 300 000 PLN to cover the two-month salary of the team volleyball player! The city was not in agreement. All the more than in the past three years, Stocznia has already received more than 3 million PLN of money from the inhabitants of Szczecin.

Volleyball players will probably propel other teams. Contracts signed by players indicate that if they are not paid for 90 days, they are exempt from the contract and must fight to get money in court. In Bartosz Kurek – as "Radio Szczecin" has learned – this date has already passed and the volleyball player can cancel the contract.
In the dark tunnel in which the shipyard was found, it is difficult to find a light that gives hope. There is no strong sponsor, the patience of volleyball players is exhausted and the city itself does not want to pump money.
The paradox of the whole situation before Thursday's match is that the battle of the shipyards with Trefl has already been canceled this season. Then, the match was interrupted in the first set and postponed due to the lack of lighting in the room. At the time, no one suspected that it was only the beginning of the fall.
