· Wisła lost while he was leading throughout the match
· The decisive goal fell at the last second of the competition
· In case of failure, Xavier Sabate's charges risk losing their leading position in Group D
Wiślacy, thanks to a good attitude at previous meetings, led group D and has already been promoted to other games. In Finland, Nafciarze had the chance to secure the leading position. For this to happen, the finalists of Poland had to shoot at least Wednesday, though they had announced that they were heading north for a full pot.
The guests quickly started the competition thanks to Nemanja Obradović who quickly opened the match result. Three minutes later, Przemysław Krajewski scored 2-0, and soon after Renato Sulić and Michał Daszek found themselves in the match goal. Adam Borbely presented two excellent interventions which allowed Płocczanie, after six minutes of competition, to run at 4: 0.
In the ninth minute of the match, Wisła won 6-0. Xavier Sabate's team performed very well on defense, effectively stopping Riihimaeki Cocks attacks. The locals were in the net of our representatives only in the tenth minute of the match, when Davor Basarić was shown with a good pitch.
However, the goal did not change the picture of the match. The Finns still had great difficulty forcing Poland's defense, but Borbely also intervened to perfection. Our handball players were not disappointed with the attack. Thus, for ten minutes before the end of the first half, Nafciarze has already hosted 12: 3 with the hosts.
After three straight minutes, the result was a big change as the home team scored four goals in a row. First of all, Nico Roennberg led the ball twice, then Basarić was twice as irreproachable. The whole situation forced the Sabate coach to ask for a break. After the recovery, however, the out-of-the-box outsiders still dominated, leading to 8:12.
At the very end of the first half, however, Wisła managed to stop the speed rivals and ended this stage of the competition at 15:10. Shortly after resuming the game, Borbely did very well twice. In response, effective throws were given by Nacho Moya and Michał Daszek, which allowed guests to bring the state back to 17:10.
From that moment, both teams began the offensive and gradually increased their shooting performance. After a quarterback in the second half, the score was 22:17 in favor of our representatives. The five goals of advantage were maintained during the next minutes of competition. In the 50th minute of the match, the advantage of Wisła finally melted only for three goals (24:21).
Shortly after, Riihimaeki Cocks caught up to another defeat and less than seven minutes before the end of the match, the Finnish team lost only 23:25. After the break led by Xavier Sabate, the popular "Koguty" scored a penalty by contact. Less than two minutes before the end of the Vistula minimum race were maintained.
In the 59th minute, after another unsuccessful offensive action by Nafciarzy, the locals launched a quick counterattack and, for the first time in their match, led to a tie. A moment later, when the Polish finalist still lost his chance, the Finnish handball team came out and, at the last second, thanks to Nico Roennberg's hit, they won a sensational victory. 27:26
