In the end, it seemed that the inhabitants of Rzeszów were on the right track to win the first version. After the block, the Polish team even led to a draw after 24, but the decisive actions belonged to the Italians. Finally, the set is over with the result of 26:24.
Asseco Resovia played in the service sector and it is the Polish team that has proven itself. The good games of Jakub Jarosz allowed him to take the initiative on the ground and take the lead. However, it was only temporary. In the following actions, Diatec Trentino dominated the Polish team and Uros Kovacević (15:17) led the attack. The Italians did not give in until the end and won the set.
The third party was only a formality. Tristan diatchers have used all the weaknesses of the inhabitants of Rzeszów. These made mistakes both in acceptance and in the attack. The Italian team has already scored five points (14: 9), but Resovia managed to get closer to three points (16:13). But that's all the Podkarpacie team could afford. Times taken by coach Cretu did not help and opponents increased their advantage and won 20. Asseco Resovia lost in three sets. Both teams can now focus on the semifinal competition at the World Club Championships in Częstochowa.
In the final fight for the final, Gheorghe Cretu 's charges will face the winner of the group A – Cucine Lube Civitanova.
