– and both. Of course, I'm glad the selector needs my players in the national team. On the other hand, there is a time when we should work hard, while I have four girls in training and two injured. Other teams are in a similar situation. I've also advised more experienced trainers to know how to handle such a situation. I do not hide that it is not easy.
– Can you make sure your players are well prepared for the ME?
– I know how they worked at the club. On a physical level, none of them should have major problems.

– You are reluctant to talk about the national team … The question is not for Robert Lisa-coach, but for Robert Lisa-fan. What do you expect from the France team?
– I would like my players to play as much and as well as possible. This is my wish as a coach. And as a fan? First of all, I want to win because it is the most important thing in the sport. Let them play ugly and hopeless, but win with a goal. Then everyone will be satisfied. Because why play wonderfully and lose? The group is difficult but balanced. The Poles showed at the Golden League tournament and recently in Alicante that they could play well and play effectively. Although I know that friendlies are one thing and the matches for the stakes are the other. I will not be the only one, if I say that the meeting with Serbia will be crucial. This is what the championship of Europe looks like. I hope that the team will be perfectly prepared for this match.
– You have assumed how many matches will they play in the European Championship and … when will they return to Lublin?
– Oh, that's a difficult question. I would like them to say goodbye at the end of the tournament. Let them play for as long as possible and win as much as possible. How is it going to be – we'll see.

– Leszek Krowicki explained the many injuries caused by the exhaustion of the players. Maybe there are a lot of meetings in the season?
– We have such a system in Poland – 32 matches in Superliga plus European cups. This season, there will not be many meetings in Europe, as Pogoń Szczecin was the only representative of Poland. On the other hand, if there were not many matches, we would only train and the fans would not have the opportunity to watch the teams face each other. This is another difficult question … The problem concerns the whole league, which is very stratified. There is a strong, narrow head and a larger bottom. All matches are not blocked. In France, for example, the teams play four less, but they are difficult and regular. Competition reform – although the decision does not belong to me – should aim to raise their level. We should aim for greater professionalism so that each of the 12 teams in the Superliga is stronger and the matches are equal. It is a priority. Whether meetings are 26, 28 or 30 years old is already a minor matter.
– Let's go back to me. Do you think he will see something new that he can apply for later in Lublin?
– of course. There are the best teams in Europe and you can always find something interesting and see. For club coaches, this is the perfect window to discover the information that coaches will use. I will definitely watch the tournament in France. Once to incorporate something new in the work with the team, and two to see what are the general trends of European handball.
– Apart from the Polish national team, are you likely to encourage France?
– I think that if, for example, the match France – Norway is reached, I will support the host team of the European Championship.
