Government-independent employers will pay higher social security contributions than they should by unsuccessful government forecasts. The increase will be nervous.

Next year, social insurance contributions will rise to 974.65 zlotys per month. It's almost 66 PLN more than now – writes Rzeczpospolita.

For this you need to add a premium for health insurance. Today, the premium rises to 320 zlotys per month and, according to the newspaper, between 10 and 20 zlotys per year. We will know the exact height at the beginning of the year.

The premium next year will reach a record – says the daily. Everything goes through a precipitous economy and an increase in wages.

In total, it is possible that in 2019, the increase in commercial expenses will even reach 100 PLN per month. Until now, contributions to ZUS and NFZ have increased from 20 to 60 PLN.

What caused such an increase in premiums? The government's forecasts are false. Increase in the amount of average compensation expected for next year. As Rzeczpospolita explains, this forecast serves as a basis for calculating the lower contributions paid by the self-employed.

Registered by the government in the budget law, the average remuneration planned for the following year was 4765 zlotys, an increase of up to 320 zlotys compared to last year.
